2027 Summer Camp

Thank you to our instructors, volunteers, parents, and students for making our 2026 Summer Camp such a wonderful success. We truly appreciate everyone’s hard work, support, and enthusiasm throughout the summer.

2027 Summer Camp registration is now open!  We look forward to another exciting summer of robotics, learning, and teamwork! 


Our week-long introductory summer camps give students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of robotics through hands-on learning and fun challenges.  Perfect for beginners, students will learn the fundamentals of building, programming, and driving robots while developing important skills in teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and engineering.

No prior robotics experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

Robotics 101 Foundation Courses

Embark on an exciting journey into robotics with our IQ Robotics Foundation Course, specially designed for students in Grades 4–7 (as of September 2026). This accelerated program introduces foundational robotics concepts through hands-on learning, guided engineering principles, and the official VEX IQ platform.  Through this beginner level course, students will build and program their own VEX IQ robots, learn coding concepts using VEXCode, tackle real-world challenges, and work on a capstone project using the 2026-2027 “Level Up” game.

Introduction to Programming with Python For Beginners | Grades 5–8

This beginner-friendly course introduces students to the fundamentals of computer programming using Python, one of the most popular and versatile languages in the world today. Through hands-on activities, students will learn how to write clean code, solve real-world problems, and think like a programmer.

 

No prior experience required! Whether you're exploring coding for the first time or looking to build a strong foundation, this course will set you up for success in future programming such as robotics, competitive programming, CCC junior/senior competition.

Are you a top-performing student with a passion for robotics and a strong commitment to excellence?

 

If so, we invite you to apply for a spot on our exclusive VEX IQ Club Teams—a year-long competitive program for dedicated students ready to take their skills to the next level.

 

Much like joining an elite sports team, students will be part of high-performance teams, receiving training, mentorship, practice and club access. Participants will have practice sessions, coaching, advanced robotics parts, spare parts, ensuring they are fully equipped for success in VEX IQ competitions.  Teams will compete in official VEX IQ tournaments, and students can follow different activity strength levels based on experience and availability.

 

This program is designed for students who are ready to work hard, collaborate, and compete at a high level in VEX IQ tournaments.
